Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Visa Counsellor to independently manage student visa applications across multiple countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, the USA, and Canada. The role requires strong expertise in visa documentation, financial assessment, and country-specific compliance to ensure timely and successful visa outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle student visa applications for:
- Australia, New Zealand
- UK
- Europe
- USA and Canada
- Assess student profiles and advise on visa eligibility, timelines, and documentation
- Review and verify financial documents, including:
- Source of funds
- Maintenance funds (3–6 months as per country norms)
- Prepare and review GS (Genuine Student) documentation for Australia and similar requirements for NZ
- Support USA (F1) and Canada study permit visa filing
- Coordinate with counsellors, students, and internal teams to ensure error-free and timely visa submissions
- Handle complex visa cases independently without on-the-job learning
- Stay updated on country-specific visa rules, embassy updates, and compliance requirements
- Respond to embassy/consulate queries and track application progress
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in multi-country student visa processing
- Strong exposure to European student visas
- Working knowledge of the USA and Canada student visa processes
- Strong understanding of financial documentation and sources of funds
- Ability to manage live applications independently
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume visa processing
- Exposure to complex or rejection-prone cases
- Immediate joiners / short notice period preferred
