Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Application Developer at Pepmedia in Bandra. The Application Developer will be responsible for software development, programming, database management, CSS, and integration tasks. A mobile application developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Hybrid Mobile Application as Android, iOS. Their primary role is to create efficient, intuitive, and user-friendly mobile applications by using native, cross-platform, and hybrid frameworks. Designing and developing mobile applications according to the specifications provided, ensuring proper functionality, performance, security, and usability.
• Writing clean and efficient code using programming languages, frameworks, and development tools specific to the targeted mobile platforms.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and rectify any errors, bugs, or performance issues in the application.
• Integrating backend services and databases into the mobile application to ensure seamless data flow and proper synchronization.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features, improvements, and enhancements in the mobile application.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mobile application development.
• Ensuring the security and privacy of mobile applications by implementing appropriate security measures and data encryption techniques.
• Optimizing mobile applications' performance through code optimization, resource management, and efficient caching techniques.
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support for mobile applications, addressing any user-reported issues or malfunctions.
• Maintaining proper documentation of application development, including code comments, user guides, and version control.
• Collaborates closely with product managers and business users to understand the requirements and translate them into functional features.
• Keep abreast of the latest software development methodologies to be able to provide best-in-class software solutions.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, integrate with web services and third-party APIs to access external functionalities and data.
• Experience in configuring push notification, and process flows.
• Experience developing apps that interact with web services (REST, JSON)
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with the publishing process for the app store and google play
